Our room was noisy on the ground floor, and the condition of the space made our one night stay feel more like a motel than a boutique hotel. The location is undeniably convenient, but basic cleanliness and maintenance seemed lacking. There was a strong musty smell, loose floor tiles, torn and stained lamp shades, clothing left in a dresser by a previous guest, and holes in the curtain. The aged, stained fabric beneath the dresser's glass top had holes too. Several wall patches were painted a different color, so the room looked unfinished and poorly cared for. Seeing the other five star reviews made me wonder whether our room was unusual. The property has potential, but management should improve upkeep and cleanliness to meet reasonable expectations.

With Cabo so overbuilt, this family run boutique hotel feels like a lovely little jewel. There’s lush greenery and decor, and the service comes with smiles. You can take a swim, read, or meet other guests, while still having easy access to all the action. A rare find.

After more than 2,000 hotel nights over the past 30 years of work travel, I can say Casa Bella had the best staff of anywhere I’ve stayed. One of the nicest hotels I’ve been to. Amazing.

The inner courtyard was a calm little escape from the busy streets, and Barbara was a terrific host who was always friendly and ready to help. We stayed at Casa Bella for 4 nights last week and were glad we did. It’s next door to our dive operator, about a 5 minute walk from the marina, and surrounded by plenty of good restaurants within the same walk. Thanks, Barbara. We’ll be back!

My father and I spent a night here before our dive trip with Nautilus, and we’d happily return to Casa Bella. Barbara was so welcoming and went out of her way to help. Since we had several hours between checkout and our check-in with Nautilus, she let us stay on site and enjoy the generous tea selection. Tea drinkers will be happy here! She also suggested local restaurants, including Epic, which I highly recommend. The hotel has a small pool and lovely, quaint grounds filled with plants and flowers, plus comfortable shaded seating. A gem of a boutique hotel in Cabo.
