Tulum Aura Beach

The staff really stood out. Every person made us feel welcome, and the yoga and massage were both wonderful. The complimentary breakfast was as good as it gets, and I’ll be thinking about the food and drinks for years. The setting was A+, the beds were so comfortable, and they’d thought of everything, even a beach bag. We did leave the resort, but we didn’t need to. Suenos was a dream come true for a winter getaway. Thank you, Suenos. I hope to see you again.

Those sand-raked paths made it feel like we were walking on untouched sand every time we went anywhere. The calm, relaxing atmosphere and all the little details were second to none, and the staff were attentive while letting us go at our own pace. We loved Tulum, and Sueños Tulum exceeded every expectation. We’ve stayed at five-star hotels and resorts around the world, and this is our new favorite experience.

For a place to relax and unwind, this is a great choice. It’s a family-run hotel, and you can feel the care in the details. The design is beautiful, and the rooms are excellent. If you’re a couple, I strongly recommend the master suite. It was probably the best hotel of our three-week trip in Mexico. The hotel restaurant is very good, prices are quite reasonable for Tulum, and it’s only for hotel guests. That’s different from beach club hotels where people can buy tickets to use the facilities. A great shop is just a minute away, with things like cold beer, wine, cheese, jamon, and even coffee. The center of the zone, with night dancing clubs, is a 15-20 minute walk along the beach.

The private beach is beautiful, and because it’s a small hotel, it never felt crowded. We had our own spot to lounge. I’d definitely come back to Tulum and stay here again. Giovanna and her family keep the property super clean and well maintained. They’re friendly and always helpful with recommendations. As a solo woman traveler, I felt safer taking taxis alone because Giovanna called drivers she trusted. She also helped arrange my Amazon delivery and checked on me when I was sick. Teo, the waiter, was super friendly too.
