Hyatt Vacation Club at Sirena del Mar

The location is amazing, and so far the service has been great. Everyone working here is really nice and friendly. The rooms are clean, though they definitely look their age and need remodeling. We were hungry when we arrived and checked out the dinner buffet, but the chicken looked like it had been sitting there for hours, so we ate somewhere else.

Sirena Del Mar was already a fun place to stay, and Ricky made it much more memorable. He was friendly, kind, helpful, and always joking around. He invited us to join activities and made sure everyone felt included. The highlight was New Year's Eve. After the live performances ended, the DJ took over, and Ricky kept the energy up for nearly two hours. He danced, got everyone excited, and even brought people into a big circle to dance so the night stayed lively. Thanks to Ricky for making our stay so fun. We hope to see him again next year!

The calm, luxurious feel of the resort made it easy to unwind. My favorite spot was the pool overlooking the sea. The views were breathtaking, with the ocean and palm trees to wake up to and beautiful skies at sunset. A lovely place to enjoy the weather and Cabo vibes. I'd love to return.

At first, our April stay was amazing. The staff were welcoming, the service was great, and the hotel had a real sense of community. At check-in, we were specifically told that nobody would enter our room for cleaning or towels unless we scheduled it ahead of time. On our second-to-last night, we left at about 4 p.m. for ATV riding and came back around 9. The room had been cleaned and the beds made, even though we hadn't requested housekeeping. Then I noticed the $300 cash I'd left on the nightstand was gone. Management confirmed a cleaner had entered. While talking to her in Spanish, not realizing I understood, she said, “I saw the money while cleaning, but I didn’t touch it.” Management said they would investigate. We had been gone the whole time, housekeeping entered without our request, the cleaner acknowledged seeing the money, and it was missing when we returned. Still, after that we were essentially ghosted, with no update, resolution, or compensation. Extremely disappointing after such a promising start. I'd still recommend this resort, but I'd bring or lock away all valuables.
