The ambassadors made a special difference during our stay. Salvador Jimenez and Ted Lima checked in regularly, made sure we had everything we needed, and even worked hard to help find my lost sunglasses. Their care and dedication were clear. Nobu Hotel Los Cabos is beautiful, peaceful, and impeccably maintained, a perfect place for a relaxing getaway. Service was exceptional from beginning to end, with warm, attentive staff who really wanted us to have a good stay. The food was outstanding too, fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented every time. We can’t wait to return.

There was a lot to love here, but some operational problems and the spa experience took away from an otherwise wonderful stay. The hotel itself is stunning, with breathtaking ocean views, and felt very safe on its large private beachfront property. We visited in February and saw whales all day. The beach is huge and lovely for playing, whale watching, and enjoying the scenery, but ocean swimming isn’t allowed because of dangerous currents. It’s a kid-friendly resort. Most of the onsite restaurants have kids’ menus, and there’s a kids’ corner playroom. Older children can stay there on their own. Our child was still very young, so we stayed and played with him. The staff were wonderfully kind and welcoming to our family and baby. We got to know several people by name and were genuinely sad to leave. Food also gets five stars from us. It was expensive, as you’d expect at a resort like this, but portions were generous enough to share. We ran into several technical problems. A loud emergency system test sounded multiple times a day all week, disrupting work calls and baby naps. It also went off in the spa, so I couldn’t properly relax during my 25-minute treatment, which I finally got after going in person several times to ask about moving up the waitlist. There were frequent power cuts, and the TV kept switching off. A replacement TV was brought to the room, but the problem continued, likely because of the power issues. One day the outages affected the water too. Having the TV fail was frustrating with a small child, when we needed breaks from the sun. The spa is beautiful and the staff are professional, but a promotion during our visit felt misleading. It said guests booking three or more nights would receive a $1,000 spa credit, but the fine print added a 35% service fee to every treatment. Prices were already extremely high, so the “free” offer still meant spending a lot. Getting an appointment was very difficult. I called and visited repeatedly to move up the waitlist, but they never let me know when openings came up. We were at the resort a full week, yet I could only book a 25-minute massage because the spa was so booked due to the promotion. I overheard staff offering same-day appointments to a timeshare guest, which made it seem like some times are reserved. I was told I should have booked weeks in advance. That’s disappointing for a five-star resort. The setting, staff, food, and property were wonderful, but the service disruptions and spa issues kept the stay from being perfect.

The design made it feel like we were almost the only guests there, and the resort was spotless and beautifully maintained. My daughter and I came for a mother-daughter trip, and it was just what we needed. Salvador was our ambassador and handled everything we asked for. He made the stay easier and more enjoyable, so I could truly rest without worrying about details. He even helped with my requests on his day off. The whole team was kind and helpful. The food was delicious, and they accommodated food sensitivities and other culinary requests. It’s also a perfect setting for beautiful photos. I highly recommend the resort, and we’ll be back.

My son and daughter-in-law had their wedding here, and the celebration was spectacular. The staff went above and beyond to make our trip wonderful. Ted, Salvador, Marco, and especially Jesus at the pool deserve a special thank you. Jesus worked so hard and seemed to know what we needed before we did. We’re grateful to all of them. The restaurants we tried were fantastic: Nobu, Muna, Pacifico, and “The Restaurant “ all served great food with superb service. Thanks again, Nobu, for one of the best experiences of my life. On a scale of 1-10, this resort is a 1000 or more.

We even saw whales close to the property, and the views were beautiful. The food was amazing, a little pricey but worth it. Ted and Salvador from the Concierge Team were pleasant, professional, and quick to respond, and made our stay really enjoyable. They surprised us with thoughtful things in the room for our birthday and anniversary.
