The ceviche from the pool was delicious, and we liked Cilantro restaurant. The hotel is well located if you want to swim in the ocean. Most employees were polite and helpful. Evaristo Uribe was especially polite, friendly, and attentive at breakfast, though he wasn’t our server most days. Another server, whose name we don’t know, was moody and often didn’t come to our table. He was bald. I had a baby and couldn’t call him over when he was far away. Our luxury suite was clean, but it could use a phone in the living room so we could call while the baby slept in the main room. There weren’t good charging ports in the living room or dormitory, and the one we found charged very slowly. Food was okay overall, with some good dishes and some not so good. The seafood buffet disappointed us: it had mussels and calamari, barely any shrimp, and more than half the food wasn’t seafood. One morning, the spa called very early to offer us something and woke the baby. They shouldn’t call people who haven’t asked. At 10 am, a cleaner knocked while the baby was sleeping, even though checkout was at 11. We felt rushed out. I stayed at pueblo bonito sunset in 2020, and the food and service there were amazing. This time, with a baby, taking shuttles would have been too inconvenient, so we couldn’t stay there. Next time we’ll try pueblo bonito blanco.

The service and pool were highlights. The pool servers were excellent, and all the employees were very nice. The beach was nice too, though the vendors got on our nerves. We took the shuttle to the sister property in the cliffs and had dinner at the Market. We wanted to take our leftovers back, but there were no to go boxes, and they said food was meant to be eaten on property. There’s no lobby bar or other place to hang out. The room problems started at check-in, which was otherwise fine. The website showed king beds, but we were told they were two doubles pushed together. That would normally be fine, except they didn’t use king bedding and instead did something odd with the sheets. The beds were very firm. I was okay with that, but my wife’s hips hurt badly by the end of the week. The rooms are very old and dated. The bathroom mirror was cracked, a light hung by a wire, and the A/C was only okay. We found lots of mosquitos when we arrived, then realized the doors were left open during cleaning. We only had the room cleaned once. I keep seeing claims that rooms will be remodeled, but they need to be completely gutted. Food was average at best for an all inclusive. Breakfast and pool food were fine, and dinner buffets varied by day. The Asian buffet on the first night was terrible. Cilantro’s was decent for lunch. We’d heard Palomas next door had a great breakfast, but it was just the same buffet food recycled. The best meal was at the high end Italian restaurant, which had a service charge. The food was very good, but service was sloooooow. My sons are allergic to nuts. Restaurants asked about allergies and wrote them down, but didn’t pass that information to servers or cooks. I don’t know why they ask if nothing is done with the information. It seems intended to reassure parents, but it didn’t make us feel safe. We spent the week here with my wife and our two 18 yr old sons. This isn’t a luxury resort. If dated rooms and average food are fine with you, and you have teenagers who don’t care about those things, it’s probably okay.

We’ve known this hotel well over 25 years of visits. It’s looking a little dated these days, but it’s still maintained very well. Daniel has been here 9 years as activities director and consistently does a stellar job keeping us entertained and active. The activities director has helped make our stays positive over the years.

Jesus was a great waiter, friendly and attentive, and made sure we had what we needed. The food was delicious throughout, and the drinks were flavorful without being too sweet. Great music, with a fun mix of 80s classics and current hits, kept the mood going all night. An absolutely amazing experience. Highly recommend, and can’t wait to come back! ☀️

Blanco is beautiful and in a great location. Leonardo gave great service with a smile, and Max bingo was entertaining and fun. I love coming to Cabo, but this visit fell short. We had to mention the lack of warm shower water several times before anyone came to check. We got one warm shower, then it went cold again. Extra towels also took several requests, and none of my VIP items were delivered. When we told staff about the problems, they didn’t seem to care or try to resolve them.
