Sunrock Hotel & Suites "Los Cabos"

The AC worked great, and we could walk to The Cape Resort and Mona Lisa restaurant for meals. They also offer rides back toward reception from the farther buildings, though it seemed to happen only about 80% of the time. There's no elevator. We had a 2 Bed/ 2 Bath unit, and the master bathroom was basically unusable because the drains and sink smelled strongly of sewage. We kept the door shut the whole trip so the smell wouldn't spread through the rest of the rooms. The front desk sent maintenance, who poured something down the drain and said it was fixed, but the odor came back after 10 minutes. A friend in another building had the same problem. Water from the shower ran under the wall and flooded the area by the toilet, and corrosion kept the shower door from closing or locking.

Our rental car made the location easy enough for us, though without one the distance from the center would make access difficult. Being a little out of the way did mean less noise. The rooms are huge, the staff were excellent, and the Arch view was lovely. We had a great stay, especially thanks to the cleaning staff.

We felt very welcome, and the place was really clean. The cleaning lady was lovely and made sure we had what we needed. The kitchen had everything for cooking a proper meal. The furniture could be improved a bit, but it didn't bother us. It's close to beaches in Los Cabos, though you'll definitely need a car. I'd happily recommend it and hope to come back.
