The Towers at Pueblo Bonito Pacifica - All Inclusive

My wife and I spent a week at Pueblo Bonito Pacifica from Dec 15 - Dec 22, and we upgraded to The Towers premium level. That distinction matters: you get Pacifica perks such as a Butler and an adults-only stay, plus access to the VIP lounge. The lounge alone made the upgrade worthwhile, with an outstanding patio, spacious indoor seating, snacks and drinks, and a comfortable area to relax or watch TV. The resort was exactly the quiet, restful vacation we wanted. Pacifica is one of Pueblo Bonito’s five resorts, and guests can also use the other four, including family-focused Sunset Beach. Shuttles and golf-cart-style rides are necessary around that large property, but we found them organized and frequent, with waits usually only a few minutes. Check with the front desk or concierge to arrange one. The other options include Montecristo and the two Cabo town resorts, Blanca and Rose, near the Marina and one of the few swimmable beaches. From Sunset Beach, the shuttle to Rose leaves hourly, with the last around 10:00 p.m.; return buses leave every half hour. Our room, 1735, was standard, so anyone expecting something grand for the upgrade price may be disappointed. It was just two doors from the VIP lounge. Check-in was straightforward, though there’s no separate line for The Towers. The wristband serves as the room key and is also scanned to confirm restaurant visits, which got tiring after a few days. With access to all five resorts, there are plenty of dining choices. Pacifica has five premium restaurants and four bars. Reservations are strongly recommended, though not required. At the end of a meal, you scan your bracelet to see an itemized bill. We understood this was how the resort tracks orders. Guests without the all-inclusive add-on pay the listed charges; for those with it, scanning zeros out the items. The app prompts for a tip, but you can opt out. The app handles bookings and reservations well, but a concierge can adjust plans and find options the app can’t. Our Butler, Itamar, also arranged our return airport transfers. For us, the concierge and butler service made the trip seamless and hassle free, and the VIP lounge was worth every penny.

We’d absolutely recommend Pacifica and would return. The food was a standout at every restaurant, with flavors just right and even the poolside menu impressing us. Service was amazing, too. We could stay by our pool or beach chairs while servers regularly came by and brought our orders promptly. The Towers rooms were carefully cleaned and well stocked with toiletries, towels, robes, and coffee. Everything smelled fresh, and the restrooms were spotless whenever we saw them, cleaned every 15 minutes. This was our first visit to Cabo and to a Pueblo Bonito resort, and the adults-only Towers experience felt one of a kind. Having a butler was a bonus that completed the trip. From arrival on, the staff were helpful and courteous, unlike any service we’ve had at a Mexican resort. Outstanding is the one word I’d use for the stay.

The shuttle rides to Sunset Beach, Rosé, and Los Cabos were free, safe, and reliable, and we loved having access to those other resorts. Back at The Towers at Pueblo Bonito Pacifica, we enjoyed the beautiful views, dinners outside each night, and time by the pool. We also joined a few daily activities, including the morning lighthouse hike. The food’s quality and presentation really impressed us. My husband and I just got back from five days there, celebrating my 30th birthday. The staff were incredibly kind and made us feel special throughout. Our butlers, Hanni and Jonathan, were especially attentive and made sure we felt welcome and accommodated. We loved every moment and can’t wait to return.

We’re back home, and it’s still five stars from me. The all-inclusive food was amazing, and I actually liked that there were several options for an extra charge. Isra and Allan, our butlers, went above and beyond anything we’ve experienced at other resorts. The spa is the one area I think needs improvement. We hadn’t expected weather in the mid 70s with so much wind. Sitting on the beach was impossible, and getting out of the pool wasn’t much fun, though that was Mother Nature, not the resort. I’d definitely recommend a trip. I’d also pay extra for The Towers, Butler service, and the VIP lounge. The difference in price didn’t seem like much, and we got a lot more than guests told us they had without those options. On our first day, I said I might update my review, but everything was already looking like five stars: good food, amazing staff, and a beautiful suite. We’ve been to Mexico many times, and to me, this place rivals La Blanc. I wasn’t sure what the complaints from other guests were about. It felt like we were talking about two different resorts.
