Casa Don Gustavo Hotel Boutique

The hotel has the feel of a historic villa, with colonial period details, and it's only minutes from the town square, restaurants, and historic places. It's a nice place in a very small city, but the room and breakfast are basic. There aren't extra services, frills, or entertainment.

The hotel is really cozy and clean, and the staff are super nice. Its location is amazing, right by bars and restaurants, but once you're through the courtyard it's quiet. One thing to fix: the Google Maps location should point to their restaurant. Highly recommended!

We spent one night in Campeche and loved the hotel. It's right in the heart of this lovely place, and the staff were so kind. The rooms and furniture are beautiful, and the hotel has lots of character. Staying at hotel don gustavo really gives you a sense of the campeche spirit. The pool was very relaxing, breakfast was great, and the beds were comfortable. I'd highly recommend it!

The hotel could be beautiful, but it seems to be run with little aesthetic sense, charm, or know-how, and not much attention to what guests actually need. The beds are much too soft, and the solution offered was outrageously uncomfortable. There's no internet in the rooms. Breakfast was poor and didn't suit current dietary needs: no brown bread or alternatives to dairy milk. Staff seemed either unmotivated or overly keen to help. The better rooms face a pedestrian street known for its outdoor bars and pubs, so the nighttime noise and smell of food are phenomenal.
