Hotel Brisa del Mar

One night was more than enough. The sheets hadn’t been washed, there was mold on the walls, and nothing had been cleaned. I wouldn’t recommend it.

Avoid this place. It’s basically a construction site, with cement, dirt, and black mold all over. Parts of the walls are missing, workers move freely through the building, and some rooms are completely unfinished.

It was quiet, but completely run down, with unfinished facilities and dirt everywhere. I asked for hangers and got some covered in dust. The hot water takes ages, and the shower barely trickles from two outlets, one pointing north and the other south, with the showerhead on the south one. Drying your hair feels like a miracle. The dark gray sheets were stained and disgusting. Luckily, there were some "white" ones that were acceptable. The staff were the bright spot: they even brought us their own mosquito repellent spray to use.

The beds were fine, and the place was comfortable enough for a rest. It’s not fancy, but it does the job, and the price is quite affordable. The location is excellent, very close to the center, with bars and restaurants on nearby streets. It looks a little worn, though repairs are underway. I’d recommend it.
