OYO Hotel Cedros

A bus goes by and reaches the city center in about 20-30 minutes, which is handy if you're watching your spending. The rooms are plain and could use better furnishings, but they have the basics and are clean. The facade doesn't look like the photo.

The room was so uncomfortable I couldn't rest. The bed's springs pressed into my body, and the place was run-down with a terrible smell. There was mold everywhere, almost like an ecosystem with fungi built into the room. For 562 pesos, the cheapest room, you'd be better off sleeping in your car. Awful experience.

The staff were very helpful and friendly, and the parking lot is closed at night to keep vehicles secure. It's an affordable place to relax, about 14 minutes by car from the city center and 5 minutes from the boardwalk. The rooms are clean and have air conditioning, hot water, and a TV, though they're small and need renovation.

Bring an extension cord if you stay here. The room we had only had one electrical outlet. There is parking, and the gate is shut at 11:00 pm for extra security. The rooms were clean and disinfected, and the staff were friendly and respectful.
