Bel Air Collection Resort & Spa Cancun

The beach is right there, beautiful and easy to reach, and I really liked the pool and its bar. The food was excellent, and the hotel was generally good. The waiters, reception staff, and animation team did their best, special thanks to Felipe. We were happy with our time in Mexico and at Bel Air Cancun, though some things need attention. For every drink or food order, all-inclusive guests have to give their room number and name and sign, which gets tedious when you order often. Our group of eight, later ten, was turned away from the restaurant several times and had to wait for enough seats. Some rooms facing the road were noisy because of the windows. Check the room equipment, especially the air conditioning, before unpacking.

The place looked nothing like the photos. It was run-down and dirty.

Getting around was easy, with buses and taxis right outside, and my tour was only an hour's ride away. The airport is just 12 minutes from here, and across the street there's a great Mexican restaurant and a grocery store with hot food and alcohol. The staff were incredible, the place was spotless, and the ocean view was breathtaking. I loved the spinach juice in the morning too. This is by far the best hotel I've stayed in. Definitely recommend it.

The shared balcony with the room next door made me a little anxious, even though the view was amazing. That's what kept this from being five stars. The pool and beach staff, especially Emanuel and Daniel, were fantastic and kept my fiancee and me supplied with food and drinks so courteously. Room service was on point too. The room itself was about what you'd expect for the price. Check-in was painless, with complimentary mimosas. I also liked that there are no kids under 12, so it was peaceful without kids or babies making noise. I'd gladly come back.
