The beach is huge and beautiful, with white sand and clear water, and there was always a palapa available. Our Jr ocean view suite was large and updated. We booked through Excellence resorts, so airport pickup was included; cool towels and cold water were waiting for us. This is the best resort we've stayed at, after trips around Mexico and the Caribbean. It's peaceful and laid back, so bring a book. The evening shows are fun but low key, so anyone looking for a party should go elsewhere. The food is outstanding, and the service has been extraordinary. Manager Manuel spent about 10 minutes checking that everything was perfect, which I don't remember happening at another resort. We feel special here, and it has been worth every penny. They don't use straws, so bring reusable ones if you like frozen drinks. Bring tip money too, the staff work hard and deserve it. We'll definitely come back.

We wanted a beautiful setting, a calm atmosphere, and an all-inclusive without kids or too much bustle, and Beloved was exactly that. Everyone we met was kind, and everything we ate or drank tasted good. There are lots of little touches that make it feel like home, plus activities you can join or skip as you please. It was the best vacation my wife and I have ever had. We'd go back in a heartbeat. I joke that if I had unlimited money and wouldn't miss my friends and family, I'd live there.

The beach really is right there, with bright blue water, and the resort itself is breathtaking. Staff were so friendly and helpful, and they take care of almost everything, including booking excursions. There are lots of activities as well. I had an incredible honeymoon here and would recommend it if you're after a relaxing atmosphere and top tier service.

The only real drawback was the beach. It was dirty and covered in plants, so it was almost unusable, though the view was still nice for relaxing and taking photos. Also, dinner at the restaurant has a dress code, and men need to wear long trousers. We stayed four nights and had a pleasant time. Room service was excellent, staff were polite and helpful, meals were good with plenty of variety, and the steaks stood out. The pools were clean. It was windy during our December stay, so warmer pool water on cold or windy days would have made swimming more comfortable. We especially enjoyed the nightly entertainment. The dance performances and live singers made the evenings lively, and we'd still recommend the hotel.
