Casa Tz'unun B&B

We had a good time here. We were in a second floor room with a king size bed, and there were three cats around who were so cute and friendly. The staff were kind and friendly too.

The house, pool, and garden are amazing, and there are two cats too. It’s a beautiful place, but far from everything else. This works well if you need to catch an early flight, though you should call a taxi ahead of time since they’re hard to find in the area. I felt a bit left on my own because there wasn’t really anyone to talk to, so that’s why I’m giving it four stars.

This seems fine for a layover, but I wouldn’t stay longer. The house was dirty, the beds were hard, and the sheets and pillowcases didn’t even match. My shower leaked the whole time. If you’re there more than a day, you have to keep asking for the room to be cleaned or things to be fixed. Food went missing more than once, too. The staff didn’t speak much English and were rude and sarcastic. They wouldn’t let us use the washer or dryer, and there’s no gym. Some photos didn’t match the actual home, and there weren’t keypad locks.

Casa Tzunum is beautifully furnished, has the amenities I needed, and felt like a little paradise. The price isn’t the lowest, but I felt it was worth it. It’s also convenient for the airport, about 15 minutes away, and a sweet dog greets you there. We had a fantastic one-night stay. The staff were attentive, friendly, and ready to help, and Miguel deserves a mention for being so committed to making things pleasant. His care and personal attention made a difference. Their taxi service was excellent, better than other services we tried, even the official ones, and I felt we’d be taken to our destination safely and comfortably. I’d happily recommend Casa Tzunum for a trip here.
