They canceled our reservation just as we arrived, and left us outside with nobody there to greet us. The exterior areas were filthy and looked completely abandoned. Calling the number on their website didn't help, the person was incredibly rude. The service and apartment were awful, and so was everything else. I wouldn't recommend staying here. DO NOT STAY THERE, THEY WILL CANCEL YOUR RESERVATION.

The place itself was comfortable, clean, and nice, and the owner let us stay a little longer on checkout day without charging extra. It was quiet and felt safe, with the ADO bus station, Mercado 28, Walmart, and public transit close by. We had Wi-Fi, though it was slow, plus cable TV, a kitchenette, and a refrigerator. Getting in was stressful. My boyfriend and I booked through Liverpool, but nobody was there to meet us. We were told to check in with an app-generated QR code, but that feature hadn't been enabled. We waited until 8:30 PM for someone to let us in because the owner couldn't come. Thankfully, someone eventually showed up. The room got extremely hot because the air conditioning didn't work. They said the water pressure was low, but when the woman came and stayed next door, the water suddenly flowed well for both of us. We weren't given towels, soap, or other amenities, just a roll of low-quality toilet paper. We only came back to sleep, but noticed our belongings had been moved out of sight and the TV channel was changed from what we'd watched the night before. When we packed, some things were missing. WE WERE STOLEN 🤬. We checked, moved, and cleaned everything carefully to make sure we hadn't simply misplaced them. The missing items had arrived with us in bags that were still in the room. When my boyfriend told the owner, he only said we'd left a box of cereal and a frozen treat 🙄. He didn't address the missing things or even try to investigate. Everything else was fine, but the air conditioning didn't work and we were robbed. If you stay, contact the owner to arrange check-in and make sure the air conditioning works. Keep a close watch on your things, or lock them in your suitcase with a code or padlock.

The apartment turned out to be so comfortable! Before we arrived, I was suspicious it might be a scam because of things I'd seen online. The owner kept in touch the whole time and was willing to guide us through check-in. It was spotless when we got there, and felt ideal for couples. We loved staying there. It's right in central Cancún, near Walmart, Mercado 28, Parque Las Palapas, and other places, so prices nearby are cheap compared with the hotel zone, haha. There was no bothersome noise, and we could come and go whenever we wanted. Sra. Alicia welcomed us warmly and gave us good recommendations. It's a good base if you plan to go out and do activities instead of staying indoors. At first, we worried something might happen to our car in the parking area, but nothing did. The neighborhood is very peaceful, with older residents, and there are security cameras throughout the passages.

We had a great 7-night stay with no problems, and the staff were friendly and attentive the whole time. The little apartment is just right for two, in a traditional neighborhood away from the bustle of tourist Cancún. There are supermarkets close by, restaurants just around the corner, and easy access to transportation. A peaceful spot for a relaxing stay and exploring. Highly recommended.
