The room was spacious, and the price was a good deal, but I stayed a week and wouldn't recommend this hostel for backpackers wanting to enjoy or explore Cancun. It's better suited to business people working around downtown or travelers passing through by plane or express bus. There were no desks or tables in the room. The shower had no hot water or shower head, so it felt like standing under a waterfall.

Our reservation had gone missing, and the hostel was full. The man at reception tried to help, but couldn't explain why our room hadn't been reserved. He turned us away at midnight and found us a room at another hostel, which felt more than a little disconcerting. We didn't feel safe there. We won't stay here again.

It's basic and nothing special, but it does the job if you need somewhere to sleep. The room had working AC and a private bathroom, though the bathroom smelled a bit. It's well located near a Walmart, currency exchange, food stalls, and a bus stop, and it works for saving money. I had let the owner know when I would arrive, but he wasn't there to let me in. I waited about half an hour at the door until another guest let me inside. The owner never showed up.

Very peaceful and pleasant. There's no TV, but that's good if you want to rest. The woman who welcomes you is very pleasant. It's a great place in an emergency, if you've lost your keys or are having your house painted.
