Hilton Cancun, an All-Inclusive Resort

Dinner at Restaurant Laluce had a lovely atmosphere and delicious food, and the team was attentive and accommodating all evening. Mauricib was especially kind. Our baby was crying, so my wife couldn’t stay for dinner, and he went out of his way to pack some leftovers for her. We really appreciated his understanding and care. We’ll definitely return.

The pools and beach access were highlights, and having DJs around was a nice touch. I pictured something different when I heard “swim up,” but we still liked having our own private little baby pool, even though it didn’t connect to anything, lol. The food and drink choices were all very good, room service was on point, and the spacious rooms were clean, modern, and tastefully decorated. Staff were friendly and professional, with plenty of humor. I’d recommend it for the value I’ve come to expect from Hilton.

Dinner at Auma at the Hilton Cancún stood out as one of our best moments there. The mahi mahi was fresh, full of flavor, perfectly cooked, and nicely presented. Elvis made the evening even better: he was warm and personable, gave helpful recommendations, and paid real attention to us throughout the meal. The elegant but welcoming atmosphere and excellent service made for a memorable dinner.

The resort was a fun first visit to Mexico and our first all-inclusive. It’s clean and stylish, with great food and helpful, friendly staff. Our favorites included David at Maxal, Joseph and Benny at the taqueria bar, Nancy at the pool (she works so hard!), Dossier at Vela, and Rocio M in the lobby, who looked after us while we waited indoors for some cool air and cafe. Jose at Sunan was great too, and that Southeast Asian restaurant was our favorite. The La Luce staff were fabulous, and our server suggested Suero for my heartburn. It worked like a charm. The nighttime shows were lovely and the music always fit the mood. It’s very family-friendly, with a kids club, pools, a splash pad, and options for picky eaters. The adults-side pool wasn’t as fun for us, but we still enjoyed the other side even with kids playing nearby. We were celebrating my birthday, and the staff left a cake in our room for us to enjoy when we got back. Auma, the steakhouse, was disappointing: both food and service were lacking. Some lobby bartenders could also be dismissive. Those were our only downsides.
