Kempinski Hotel Cancún

This was our third stay, and it’s still our favorite hotel. We wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Mexico. Every staff member is kind, attentive, and truly wants each guest to feel special. The whole team exceeded our expectations again. This is our favorite week of the year because of the care, service, and hospitality we get on every visit. We can’t wait to come back.

I can’t speak to the rooms since I didn’t stay at the hotel, but the service and location both earn five stars. My family of four came for Sunday brunch, our second visit after going last year, and we chose to return specifically for the brunch. Angel was our main server, with help from several other team members. Everyone gave exceptional service. There were lots of stations and a wide choice of delicious food, all prepared by talented chefs, with attentive staff going above and beyond to help. It’s one of the few places where I feel compelled to leave my full 20% tip, and the waitstaff and whole team absolutely earned it through their professionalism and attention to detail. I’ll gladly come back for Sunday brunch whenever I’m in Cancun.

The service and kindness of the staff everywhere really made the stay stand out. Jorge Carlos in particular made our time at the beach special. Thank you so much, we’d love to return. We had four wonderful days here as part of our Riviera Maya trip. The rooms were very nice, clean, and high standard, the dining choices were very good, and the beach was clean and well maintained. I can’t think of anything negative.

Falling asleep to the ocean was one of my favorite parts. It was so peaceful, and the room was comfortable and very well kept, though I forgot to take photos of it. My wife and I had a wonderful time at Kempinski Cancun and would definitely return. Breakfast was a highlight, with plenty of fresh, delicious choices. We also spent lots of time relaxing by the pool and jacuzzi. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome. Everyone was friendly, helpful, and attentive without going overboard. We’ve stayed at Kempinski resorts in Bali, Dubai, Slovenia, and Budapest, and this property felt very much on brand. The service and overall experience matched what we’ve come to expect from Kempinski.
