Marco and his family gave us great advice on getting around and staying safe. He even became our uncle so we could avoid tourist discrimination from the police! The green guesthouse was lovely, and I felt comfortable and well looked after there. The owner was easy to reach and arranged a late-night airport pickup with a really nice driver. I'd absolutely recommend it. Bring mosquito spray.

A unique, peaceful place, and we had a wonderful stay. The hosts went out of their way to make us comfortable and were extremely accommodating. We enjoyed talking with them while they cooked breakfast right in front of us. I'd recommend it to anyone.

The place is run down and looks nothing like the photos. There's no hot water in the kitchen for cleaning cutlery, and elsewhere it only works now and then. The common areas don't have AC. If snakes, scorpions, bats, mosquitos, and very large hairy spiders are your thing, this is the place. Stay at your own risk. Marco needs to put money into fixing it up.

A lovely little hotel with a jungle feel, and the staff are extremely friendly. Stay here if you're arriving in or flying out of Cancun!
