A comfortable room, great value, and the best service I've experienced. Martha and David waited for us outside the airport for an hour and served us a traditional breakfast with all kinds of fruit. It's also well located, within walking distance of Downtown. Martha can arrange really good discounts on other Cancun services, such as a bus tour to Cenote and Chichen Ttza or scuba diving. Those cost less than we expected. If you want to experience local Cancun, this is definitely the place to stay.

A good place to sleep over, as long as you don't expect too much since it's not a hotel. The family were great, keen to chat, and helpful. The rooms were okay, with AC and a fan, and the shared bathroom was in good, though not perfect, condition. Breakfast was okay too. The owner picked us up at the airport, for a fee.

Los Caracoles Bed & Breakfast has a very reasonable rate, and the family soon feels like your own. The setting is green, with parks, trees, and songbirds to wake up to, and it's ideal if you prefer local life to a tourist hotel. It's also handy for getting around: ADO and colectivos on different routes are close by, including rides to faraway places like Tulum or Merida. Breakfast is my favorite part. Martha or David make a different Mexican desayuno each time, or ask what you'd like and prepare it. If you're unsure what to try, Martha will make different dishes each day until you find something you like. For me, tamales and totopo were the best. I highly recommend staying here. I'll be back in winter and plan to stay longer. Thanks to Martha, David, Ricky and Danny for a wonderful Cancun experience.

We enjoyed our stay, though there are a few things they could improve. We had reserved a room with its own bathroom, but it turned out to be shared. They also didn't seem ready for us when we arrived despite the reservation. The place was clean and service was good, but breakfast was just okay and on some days came very late, past 9am.

Martha is such a great host, and we loved everything about her and the place. It's central and close to ADO and everything else. This is the place to stay in Cancun.
