Hotel Luma by Kavia Cancun

Everything went well apart from the nightclub right across from our window, which made a lot of noise during the night. I'd have given five stars otherwise. If you can, ask for a room facing the other side.

The rooms were clean and practical, and the staff were helpful. There was just one hanger, though, and no wardrobe or safe. The ADO coach station is conveniently close. But my room faced the front, near a nightclub, and the music was unbearable. I stayed over a weekend, so I can't say if it runs every night, but check before booking. You won't sleep through it, especially if you're there until 4am. For even one night, I'd look elsewhere.

The location is good and the staff are nice, but where are the blankets? What the helly?

We'd happily come back. The price was reasonable, the staff were friendly, and they gave us fresh drinking water. The room had simple furniture, was clean, and the AC worked efficiently. It's on a main street in a safe-feeling area, and the noise wasn't too bad. The ADO bus station, restaurants, and an OXXO convenience store are nearby. A mini fridge would have been useful for keeping drinks cold in the hot weather.
