Secrets Playa Mujeres Golf & Spa Resort - Adults Only - All Inclusive

Sharing the water park, lazy river, and other amenities at Dreams Playa Mujeres was a real bonus, while we could still return to the quieter adults-only Secrets Playa Mujeres. The entertainment was fun and lively when we wanted it, without making the resort feel noisy or overwhelming. We stayed at the end of May after months of research, and the welcome and service lived up to our hopes. Check-in was easy, and staff were warm, attentive, and often seemed to anticipate what we needed. The grounds were immaculate, the modern rooms were beautiful, and we felt safe and private, whether at the pool, on the beach, or in our ocean-view room. Meals were some of the best we’ve had at an all-inclusive, with great quality, variety, and presentation. There was always something available, from breakfast and dinner to late-night snacks, coffee, and treats. Elizabeth and Carlos from entertainment brought so much energy and kindness to the activities. Ricardo from housekeeping, bartenders Abraham and Diana, and Fernanda at the Market Café also made us feel well cared for. A few of our group got briefly sick during the stay. Staff checked on us, made sure we were comfortable, and offered access to a doctor if needed. Their compassion and professionalism meant a lot. We left relaxed and happy, already talking about coming back. Secrets Playa Mujeres exceeded our expectations, and we’d recommend it to anyone looking for a luxury all-inclusive in Mexico. We can’t wait to return.

Poolside service was great, the rooms were comfortable, and the resort was organized and welcoming throughout our family stay. We were four and came away happy with every part of the experience. The restaurant staff were consistently kind and attentive, which made meals enjoyable. Diego and Memo from the entertainment team were energetic and friendly, adding to the fun. At arrival, the entrance team greeted us warmly and professionally. Rafael made check-in and check-out smooth and stress-free, going out of his way to help. We’re already planning to return next year. A relaxing, high-quality choice for families.

Albin, our concierge, worked really hard to make the stay good, and the trip was enjoyable overall. But the service fell short in several ways. Our room went multiple days without cleaning or servicing, and the room-service food tasted like someone else had ordered it, left it, and it had all melted together by the time it arrived, barely warm. You need a golf cart to get around, and walking was confusing and buggy. They also made me late for both tee times, even though I called the night before to prepare. At a golf resort, golf should be a priority. All-inclusive should mean getting what you paid for, but this included food I’d call garbage and poor service. Sorry for the negativity, but as good as Secrets can be, we won’t return to this one.

The resort felt fresh and new, with nicely upgraded rooms, and all the staff were accommodating. The drive from the airport took about an hour by shuttle, so be ready for that. Once we arrived, though, it was completely worth the long trip.
