Seven Boutique Apartments Cancún

We booked a week, but when we arrived the gate was shut and the place was closed. Nobody had notified us. Traveling with young kids and trying to find another hotel during the busy season was an absolute nightmare. I’ll never book through Expedia again.

The room at Hotel Seven Boutique smelled strongly of mold as soon as I walked in, and the bathroom had a sewer-like stink. It felt unsanitary and looked nothing like the online photos. Cleanliness and maintenance clearly weren’t priorities. The water stopped running completely, and it took 40 minutes to get it fixed. WiFi was painfully slow too, so getting anything done was frustrating. I didn’t enjoy the stay and wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone needing a comfortable, clean, reliable hotel. It wasn’t worth the money.

We booked three months ahead for New Year’s Eve, arrived at the airport, then went to the hotel and found it closed. Finding another place at the same price was a nightmare, and the night didn’t go as planned. Please just let people know on Booking that you’re closed.

The location is good, which was the only upside during our week here. The rooms weren’t cleaned, towels weren’t replaced, and the toilet wouldn’t flush. Today I had to put a pile of dirty towels on the reception desk just to get clean ones. Worse, noise from the bar across the street made it impossible to sleep every night. We asked management several times to move us to a room away from the street. They gave us earplugs instead. I don’t recommend staying here.
