For under $30 a night, the private room for two was amazing for both price and location. It was clean and practical, and even had a Roku with internet and Netflix. The room was noisy, but earplugs got us through the night. Breakfast was just a small plate of fruit, coffee, and toast with jam and butter.

Reception staff gave very good service, and the location is handy, close to the ADO bus station. But the private room and its private bathroom were dirty, and there was no hot water anywhere in the building. Breakfast was very basic too. For the same price, there are better hotels and hostels.

I've been to Cancun three times and tried everything from a budget hotel to a very expensive one in the hotel zone, as well as this hostel. For quality, price, location, and facilities, this is the best of them. There are still things to improve, like helping guests learn about recycling and similar things, but I highly recommend it!

A great place if you need to stay near the ADO bus terminal. It's in a quiet area, the service is very good, and there's parking at the back.
