It's very quiet here. I've stayed twice, including once six years ago, and both times it wasn't a great place to meet other travellers. The dorm was sweltering and full of mosquitos. They really need A/C or at least fly nets. Breakfast was poor too, mostly sugary bread and cereal, though fresh fruit would be an easy improvement. My pyjama top disappeared, probably mixed up in the laundry, but the front desk didn't bother looking for it. The pool and hammocks were enjoyable, the staff were nice, and the location is handy for buses to the hotel zone and the ADO bus station. The pool and location are faultless, but I probably wouldn't stay again.

The Wi-Fi worked well, and the pool looked nice, though I wouldn't swim in it. Breakfast was a joke. The neighborhood around the hostel felt pretty sketchy, and I had a hard time finding an ATM that worked because they don't take cards. It was OK for one night before an early flight out of Cancun. You get what you pay for!!!!!
