The room was very basic, with stains across the walls and a dirty bathroom that needs updating. We only got two pillows per bed and not enough towels, with no hand or face towels. There was no hand soap or conditioner, just one small packet of low quality shampoo. This place could do so much better.

The balcony had a lovely view, and we could eat our own food there. The rooms themselves are basic, and the WiFi barely worked. We had a problem with the air conditioning, but Isabella speaks English and let us switch rooms. The pillows were good.

The location is convenient, right on the beach next to the leaning tower of Celestun, with plenty of places to eat nearby. There isn't any food at the property, including breakfast. The place is very basic, and the "drum doors" make it a bit noisy.

The owner was attentive and quick to respond, and the place was clean and neat. I had a good stay. Just a sheet wasn't warm enough for me, so if you like blankets, you may want to bring one. I only stayed one night and didn't ask for one. The beach was okay, though seaweed on the nearest beach smelled a bit. Most restaurants are close by.

The young people running the hotel were lovely, polite, and helpful, and the rooms and hotel were very clean and modern. WiFi was patchy and slow, so a wireless repeater upstairs near the rooms would help. Access from the street is through a large gate. Across the jetty, there was excellent, cheap food on the beach for 240 pesos.
