Hotel Luna Caribe

The staff were courteous, the rooms decent, and I was very pleased with the value. With the airport nearby, a taxi was easy to get within minutes. There’s a gym and a swimming pool, too. My room faced the street, so I could hear traffic. Turning on the TV fixed that for me. I’d recommend the hotel and plan to stay again, though next time I'll ask for a room farther from the road.

Getting there with Google Map was no problem, but check-in was awful. The receptionist seemed clueless and first put us in a dirty room, so I had to go back and complain before we were given another one. The website says breakfast is offered. When I asked the receptionist with the red braces what time it was, she smirked and told me to “go to the City for your food.” The staff seemed untrained, and I don't recommend this hotel to anyone.

The young woman at the front desk with braces had a terrible attitude and wouldn't help guests. It seemed like she didn't need the job, maybe she's related to the owners.

We hated the place. The pool was dirty and murky, with a beer can floating in it, and nobody cleaned the pool area during the two days we were there. Semi trucks were parked nearby, and one staff member was sweeping the floor with a mop. The whole scene felt confused and awful. Our room had no Wi-Fi and was horrible, and the breakfast and service were bad too. At checkout, they made two women and a child leave and wouldn't let them wait an hour or two by the pool for their husbands. It felt more like a dirty train station than a hotel. The pictures lie, and I can't recommend it.
