Xcalak Hotel Boutique

After being out all day, the air conditioning was a refreshing relief. The hotel is near town, local shops, and restaurants, with a convenience store right across the street. We stayed for two weeks and felt very welcome. The staff were friendly and helpful, and our room was clean and comfortable. I'd definitely stay again on my next trip.

It's a relatively cheap place with AC and a TV in the room. Nothing luxurious, but okay for the price. The internet is pretty bad. One receptionist isn't very friendly, while another is really great. One night we woke up to a commotion outside. Apparently a bar operates on some nights and makes noise. If budget is a concern, it can work. There isn't secure parking, so you leave your vehicle on the street at your own risk.

The windows in some rooms won't lock, and someone could climb in fairly easily. A family member left a jacket in our room, but when we came back for it, it was gone. The service was deplorable, with no common courtesy or respect. Dishonest and unreliable. I'll never use their services again!

Right in town, with clean, air-conditioned rooms, Wi-Fi, and a private bathroom. Great service, too.
