Pretty cool place.

For what we paid, it was just okay. The place wasn’t clean: we found cockroaches, and both the sheets and chairs had stains. The woman looking after us eventually came out to help, but she’d been curt when we couldn’t get inside, like we were bothering her. After that she stopped responding. Thankfully we worked out how to get the hot water going ourselves.

During my five months traveling around every state in Mexico, this was easily the worst place I stayed. The property felt neglected, and the host seemed to show no care for either the guests or the place. Getting in at night was a mess. There were no signs, directions, or anyone around to point out the entrance or parking. The lot and gate weren’t marked, and I nearly crashed in the dark. Before I arrived, the host had told me to read the instructions on Booking.com and not contact them through other apps. When I tried WhatsApp, I got no reply. The room wasn’t acceptable either. There were cockroaches, just one sheet and no duvet cover, and the towels were dirty and clearly hadn’t been washed after the previous guests. The whole place was in terrible condition. I wouldn’t recommend it. It was a complete fail, a zero for me.

We were happy with our one-night stay. The neighborhood was peaceful, and both the room and bathroom were clean. Near midnight we had trouble with the shower pressure, but the owner sorted it out in about five minutes. Everything was great.
