Best hotel in Chetumal, hands down. Five stars!

The food at the restaurant is pretty good, and the staff are all smiles, though most of them only speak Spanish. The people around here are in great spirits even though the neighborhood isn't in the best shape, and I love the Mexican people. This is one of the oldest hotels in all of Chtumal. My room was clean and had air conditioning. The people have been very nice and accommodating so far.

The staff were friendly, and I had a pleasant stay. I got here around 2 am after taking the Ado bus from Cancun, and they gave me a room. It wasn't their nicest room, but it was okay and worth it for how close we were to everything. I was able to get around easily from here. The room had a split AC unit. You'd never want or need heat this close to the equator. The pillows were extra, extra, extra firm. I skipped the pool because the water looked a little cloudy, and I didn't want to risk it.

Awful place, don't stay here. The rooms were dirty and smelly, there was no Wi-Fi, and the pool water was dark. They also wouldn't upgrade our room. TERRIBLE!!!

We checked in late and found the shower wasn't working. There was no hot water, and the room smelled musty. The beds were hard, too. I guess you get what you pay for, but I won't stay here again unless they upgrade it. This was not a good stay.
