The hotel itself was nice, and the rooms and sheets were clean, though the sheets had stains. Breakfast took so long that I had to leave for an appointment without eating. The receptionist was curt and rude, and didn’t make us feel welcome. I’d booked specifically for the pool, but it was closed. When I asked for a discounted rate, I was told they don’t do discounts. I visit every year, but I won’t be returning to this hotel.

Walking back up to the hotel can be a pain since it’s at the top of a mountain. Still, the place was super clean, the staff were really nice, and breakfast was delicious. I’ll definitely stay here again!

The bathroom needed a better cleaning, there was a lot of hair on the floor and in the shower. The room itself was nice, and the bed was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good, and my food came out without much of a wait.

For work, the physical network connection was a real plus when it worked. It was faster and more reliable than the wireless, so thanks to whoever set that up. The staff are friendly and very good. The rooms are clean and have newer TVs, though the pillows aren’t comfortable. The chemical smell is the big problem. They clearly try hard to keep things clean, but in some areas the odor is very strong and could make someone sensitive to it uncomfortable, maybe even nauseated. It fades some after a day, but I smelled it both days of my stay. That’s why I gave it three stars. EDIT 13-3-2024 I’m back again, and the chemical smell is still awful, just as heavy as last year. This time the AC also had an annoying rattle. It was late and the facilities person had already left. I moved to a different room, which was better but still a bit noisy. The wired connections don’t work anymore, though the cables are still on the desks. Very disappointing. One warning: bathroom stickers behind the faucets say the water is 100% drinkable / 100% potable. Don’t rely on them, and don’t drink the water. I’ve asked about the stickers several times and was told not to drink it. Management should take them down before someone gets sick and sues.
