The dining room is spacious, and the bedrooms are comfortable, though they could use fresh paint. My room had stains on the walls. The house is otherwise well designed, and since my stay was short, I didn't need to work out how to use the kitchen. I do hope someone cleans the refrigerator regularly. Cleaning seems irregular. My room wasn't very dirty, but there was dust on the floor and under the bed. The bathroom needs a full renovation, and I didn't even want to try showering there. The owners should also improve security when nobody is at the front desk, for example by asking guests to let them know if they expect visitors.

The old-house atmosphere and antique touches are appealing, and the location is great, close to downtown and surrounded by little coffee shops, bars, and restaurants. It's affordable whether you're on a budget or not. But the place needs attention. Some work could make it look better and less improvised, and the showers and back patio really need improvement.

The hostel has a warm, rustic feel, and the kind young staff and handy location made my one-night stop in Chihuahua worthwhile. It's affordable, a short walk from Centro and the bus terminals, with terraces to sit on. The eight-bed dorm was clean, with comfortable beds, privacy curtains, warm blankets, AC, and windows that open. Wi-Fi was strong, the entrance had two secure keypad gates, and the bathrooms were spacious. Cleanliness elsewhere needs more care. Upstairs bathrooms had no toilet paper or paper hand towels, and the soap was empty. The garbage pile visible from the terrace, mentioned in a review nearly a month earlier, was still there and had grown. The terrace seating was dusty. Black soot covered the kitchen stove, pots and pans, and had spread to the sponges and cloths. The fridge was disgusting, with plates holding half-eaten food that looked days or even a week old, open containers, and spills. The showers and toilets have makeshift walls and need improvement.

This hostel has closed. Don't try to book it.

The owner made us feel at ease and was helpful with our plans. The dorm cubicles were cozy and gave us plenty of privacy, and there was a lovely garden along with several outdoor spots to relax. Great place in a great location. I'd definitely recommend it.
