After several days of walking, I booked the onsen to soothe my muscles, and it was absolutely worth it. The jacuzzi was relaxing and much needed. Since I went on a weekday afternoon, I had the whole area to myself. The service was excellent, though I wish there were a call button instead of having to go downstairs to ask for help. The service includes a meal, which was fantastic value. I chose something from the lunch menu and a tea. The facility was beautiful from the outside, and since it faces other buildings, they seemed to have put thought into blocking views from nearby windows. It's within walking distance of la Independencia, with lots of cute restaurants and bars nearby if you want to eat afterward, though you don't really need to because of the included meal.

The salt bath made a peaceful finish to our day. We could relax and sip tea there after a couples massage and facial at Ryo Kan spa. My partner and I had a wonderful visit, and every part of it went smoothly. The place is beautifully designed and felt calming as soon as we walked in. Our massage therapists were attentive and skilled, and adjusted the treatment to what we needed. For the service and luxurious setting, the prices felt like a real bargain. I'd absolutely recommend Ryo Kan spa to anyone looking for a calm, restorative break.

I went for a massage, and it was incredible. They focused on the areas that were bothering me, and I left feeling refreshed. The whole place was clean and comfortable, with a great vibe and very attentive staff.

Breakfast was good, but I didn't love the hotel. My room had no windows to the outside. Instead, it looked over the dining table on the first floor where breakfast is served, with a small balcony facing the same indoor area. It felt a bit suffocating without fresh air.

We were able to book a couples massage for me and my partner, though the staff could only fit us in an hour and a half after we arrived. They greeted us with complimentary tea, water, or coffee. We chose to have an hour-long onsen bath before the massage. Everything was very fairly priced, and the bath was soothing. Natalia was professional and a great masseuse. 10/10, would recommend.
