The listing mentioned a hotel shuttle, but there wasn’t one. The pool was out of order, the photos looked old, and there’s no restaurant. The room also had none of the basics like shampoo, conditioner, soap, or face towels.

The food was delicious and nicely seasoned, and everything was very clean. We also had excellent service and felt comfortable, almost like we had the hotel to ourselves since there weren’t any other guests. The outdoor pool was just the right temperature.

The owner gives guests personal attention, and there’s a lovely pool, gardens, and space for events. It’s in a small town near Zihuatanejo, a nice setting if you’re looking to unwind.

Getting through the door takes some practice. Everyone has a key, but it’s tricky to use, so you may end up waiting for someone to let you in. Parking is a hassle too. When the hotel is full, you have to ask other guests to move their cars so you can get out.
