We’d never had a bad stay here before. This time, I turned off the AC because I was getting cold, and soon the walls and floor were completely wet. At the front desk they told me not to switch off the AC. This was our first bad experience.

There’s a security guard keeping an eye on the cars in the parking lot, and the hotel is right across the street from an upscale mall. The rooms are spacious and clean, with a kitchenette and a big desk area to work at. There’s plenty of hot water, too. It’s not a five-star hotel, and they don’t pretend it is.

The location is perfect, right beside a deli store, but the cleanliness was awful. There was hair all over the room, including the floor, sheets, and bathroom. I ended up washing the floors myself because the cleaning staff either seemed lazy or didn’t know how to clean properly. A white mop might help them see how dirty the floors are, and they should actually wash them with water. Every morning, they spray something in the elevator and lobby to cover what I think is a mold smell. It smells disgusting, and all that air freshener makes things worse. I know it’s a cheap hotel, but the staff should still do their best to keep hair off the floors and beds. It was the dirtiest hotel I’ve ever stayed in.

The only good thing was the shopping center across the street. The showers had mildew, the toilets stank, and all three rooms we received had dirty linens with hair on the sheets. There was dust and dirt all over the floor, and some doors didn’t lock properly. They charge extra for cleaning.

The hotel is in a nice, safe part of Coatzacoalcos, next to a shopping center and across the road from a large mall. The rate is low for the quality, and the WiFi is fast. There’s a small pool, a laundry room, and the grounds are very clean. The rooms are excellent, with a little kitchen, microwave, stove, and fridge. They can also provide pots, pans, cups, and plates. From 6:30am to 10:30am, they offer fruit, tasty coffee, and bakery items at the front desk at no charge. Great quality for the price, and the location is perfect.
