Casa de la Ballena

We spent plenty of time relaxing by the saltwater pool, and the music playing there was a real highlight. Casa de la Ballena feels like a calm escape from the busy town center, while the beach and cafes are still an easy walk away. The staff looked after us and kept the rooms and grounds in great shape. I’d highly recommend it to anyone visiting Sayulita.

We rented the whole place for a destination wedding, and everyone left so happy. We had a wonderful week there. The hotel is modern, beautifully maintained, and in a great location. Martin took exceptional care of us. Sayulita is a magical town, and this hotel felt like paradise within it.

Breakfast is included, and it’s top quality. Martin and the woman whose name I can’t remember worked incredibly hard and made my stay one of the best I’ve had. The staff were patient, friendly, accommodating, and hardworking throughout. My ground-floor corner room near the kitchen was fantastic. It had everything, including coffee and espresso, a full kitchenette, a fridge with a small ice maker, cable, and good quality soap, shampoo, conditioner, and lotion. I didn’t need to bring any of those products. The hotel has a quiet, boutique feel, with everything close by and convenient. The room itself exceeded my expectations, and the price was more than reasonable. It would work well for a family or a group of friends.
