Coba stole my heart, and leaving after five nights was harder than I expected. It was my first trip to Mexico, and the welcome made it such a beautiful experience. I stayed in the King Premium Bungalow, which was just right, clean, and had what I needed. I don't travel for the room, but it made a lovely little escape. The road was quiet while I was there, though I don't know if January had anything to do with that. There are places to eat and things to explore within driving distance, and breakfast was good enough for me. Toast and tea did the job. I didn't use the pool, and the hot tub was cold and a bit dirty, sorry guys, but that didn't affect my trip. The staff were great and so welcoming. I wish I'd booked a longer stay, and I can't wait to come back.

We got around on the bikes every day, riding into town for meals, essentials, and local attractions. Breakfast was included, fresh, and a good start to the day. Our room felt private, had everything we needed, and was perfect for us. The staff were so kind and helpful, sharing local tips, sorting out transportation, and keeping things running smoothly. We had a really nice stay.

We loved the deluxe bungalow at the back of the property. It was much quieter, and we slept with the windows and sliding door open, listening to birds instead of traffic. The room had its own pool and a huge bathroom. After two of our five days in the noisy two-bed bungalow, we decided to leave early, but the manager offered us this upgrade. If you can afford to book that room directly, do it. The jungle setting, pools, and delicious restaurant are lovely, though the hotel is very close to the highway.

We found Aldea Coba on a whim while looking for somewhere quiet that could fit our family of four, and the Queen Villa was a wonderful choice. The room and bathroom were huge, and having a private pool was such a treat. There was a futon that turned into a bed, so the kids didn't have to share. We got some of our best sleep since arriving in the area, with the screened doors open to hear the jungle or the AC on when it was too hot. The big shower had a rainfall head, too. Hugo at the front desk was attentive and kind, and gave us great suggestions. Everyone was welcoming, and we loved the food at the restaurant. Breakfast being included was nice, and there's also a large private dining room for up to 12. I'd highly recommend it if you're after a small boutique experience.

We loved having our own pool in the King Villa, and the room was lovely with AC that worked perfectly. The staff were some of the most hospitable we've experienced, helping arrange our private tour to Chichén Itzá and airport transportation. The main disappointment was finding out the hotel's bar and restaurant were closed. We used the bikes to reach town for meals, apart from the complimentary bread and snacks at breakfast. It was fine, about a 12 minute ride, but an aggressive stray dog guards part of the road, chased us, and tried a few times to bite my fiancé. Scary, though not the hotel's fault. We had a great stay at Aldea Coba and would recommend it, especially if you have your own transportation.
