Everything else was very satisfactory, and the stay was excellent for such a reasonable price. La Plancha Park is right across the street, with the local bus terminal nearby for connections to the two Maya Train stations, Teya and Umán. In my room, a small bedside light would have helped. The one switch turns on two large lights. A duster would also be useful for the cobwebs and insect remains, though I only saw a few. Payment is by bank transfer or cash only.

The rooms are small, the bathroom is cramped, and there are some insects. Still, the location near the plaza is great. It's a reasonable cheap stay, but I wouldn't choose it for better quality or comfort.

The place is quiet at night, and they give you keys so you can come and go whenever you like. There's no parking, and the location is isolated, far from both the center and the industrial area. A busy avenue, grocery store, and hot dog stand are a block away. Service is super friendly and the value is good compared with Mérida prices, though the rooms are average. The shower pressure is low, but there's hot water and air conditioning. Cable TV is available, but the internet is terrible. They sell breakfast at an affordable price; I looked at the menu but didn't try it. There's a strange sewer smell in the bathroom. No dogs, alcoholic drinks, or loud noise at night. Fine for sleeping after a day in the city.
