Antelar Casa Destino

Gerardo Romero, the GM, got us into our room before the usual check-in time. He worked the front desk and also took and served our breakfast order. Hard worker! Breakfast was included each day, and the owner and his daughter were very nice and humble. We enjoyed talking with you both, and thanks for all the restaurant recommendations. During our November 2025 stay at Antelar Casa Destino in Merida, we found it central to nearly everything, with parks and restaurants within walking distance. Since it’s off a major street, it was quiet and peaceful. Our Junior Suite, "El Tigre", was spacious and full of natural light, with an enormous bathroom and both indoor and outdoor showers. The decor impressed me and had that "Tulum vibe". My only downside was no dedicated desk for my laptop while working remotely. Otherwise, the room was perfect. We were very happy with our stay and will definitely return.

The rooms are huge, the hotel feels very modern and individual, and the pool is lovely. It has everything you need for exploring Merida and relaxing afterward. The management was exceptionally friendly and supportive. A wonderful place, like a flower in the city center of Merida. No doubts, come to hotel Antelar Casa Destino!

There are just 7 exclusive rooms, with delicious breakfast and details to admire in every corner. Beautiful place, and I’ll definitely return.

The courtyard pool was fantastic, surrounded by greenery and so quiet it felt miles from the busy streets. We spotted little lizards, an occasional frog, butterflies, and a couple of vultures passing by. There are three spacious lounge areas, both indoors and out. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. They arranged a car rental easily and let us use a dedicated spot in a nearby estacionamiento free of charge. The room had a high ceiling, a very wide bed, double basins, and a waterfall shower with a removable attachment. This is a beautiful, peaceful, modern boutique hotel on quiet back streets, with nice cafes and bars around but away from the touristy areas. A few mosquitoes still got into our room every night despite our best efforts, and the aircon was a little loud and disturbed our sleep, but in that heat we couldn’t complain. We’d definitely come again.
