Hotel La Villa de San Quintin

Everyone here was super nice, and it's a family run place. The rooms were clean, and I liked having actual keys for them. There's a restaurant on site with good food at a fairly reasonable price. They have pet friendly rooms, but book straight through the hotel instead of a third party so you can make sure you get one. Those rooms are separate from the ones that don't allow pets. We'll be back next time we're around.

We didn't stay at the hotel, just went to the restaurant, but the food and service were outstanding. The hotel looked really nice from what we saw, too. Looking forward to coming back to eat there.

There aren't many places to stay along this long stretch of Baja Norte, and this is a dependable stop between TJ and Guerrero Negro. The room was clean, basic, modern, and American style, with two comfortable beds, heating and A/C, a nice bathroom, and plenty of room. It stayed quiet despite being on the main road, and the staff were warm and efficient. There's a restaurant and coffee shop on site. It felt a bit expensive for the area and what you get, though there aren't many nearby alternatives, so I assume HVdV is making the most of that.

The breakfast buffet was the best part, so be sure to check it out. The rooms are nice and roomy, with a TV, and the price is quite reasonable. Staff at reception were friendly, and the security cameras seem to be doing their job. It was generally quiet, but thin walls and echoing corridors made it hard to sleep through the night.
