The power went out for the whole night and part of the morning during our stay. The heated pool was only lukewarm, and with the gas running out, it would obviously be cold. We also had no hot water because they ran out of gas. From the other comments, this seems to happen often. Staff tried to fix it after I called that night, but hot water lasted only two minutes before turning icy again. By morning there was none at all. The photos are nice and accurate, but read the other reviews before booking. Sound carries throughout the hotel because doors and windows don’t seal properly. The shower pressure is so strong it’s uncomfortable and can burn your head. Cell service barely works in most of the hotel, and the Wi-Fi is terrible. There’s no phone in the room, so reaching management is difficult. Of their four phone lines, no one answers or it can take over an hour, assuming you have internet. Service is very slow and leaves a lot to be desired. The young staff seem inexperienced. In this kind of work, I don’t blame them, I blame the owner for not training them. The complimentary breakfast is just fruit, a piece of toast, and coffee. It’s okay, but don’t expect a full breakfast. You can order from the menu if they have gas. The curtains don’t block the light, so expect plenty of sun in the room. Also, it’s a pet-friendly hotel, so dogs may bark at night.

The rooms were freezing, with no heating at all, and one of them, room number 6, smelled strongly of damp and mustiness. The pillows and mattress were awful, and the price wasn’t worth it. We booked two rooms and neither had hot water. They apparently have had boiler trouble for a while without fixing it. Someone tried to repair it after I called that night, but the hot water lasted only two minutes before going ice cold again. By the next morning there was none at all. Hot water is the bare minimum for a hotel, especially in winter. Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else.

The terrace has a nice view, and the room had a mini-fridge, microwave, coffee maker, and a pitcher of water. There was no coffee for the maker, though. The sliding door was hanging off and hard to open or close, and it never shut all the way. It’s a small hotel by the road, so a lot of noise comes into the rooms. Their signs about handmade bath products come across as unfriendly, and when we went to shower, there wasn’t any soap. I wouldn’t spend more than one night here.
