The terrace was one of my favorite parts of staying at Mubu Hotel. From up there, you get lovely views over downtown and the main church, and sunset looks breathtaking. We also really enjoyed the food and drinks at Quirina, the hotel restaurant. The rooms are spotless, thoughtfully designed, and comfortable. Staff were warm, attentive, and ready to help throughout our stay. The location made it easy to explore town on foot, and felt convenient and safe, especially for a first visit. I’d happily recommend it.

The staff are kind and really professional, and the restaurant has a lovely view of Valle. I loved one of my favorite menus there, so delicious! The place itself is charming.

We had a great time in the hot tub, and the restaurant had lots of choices. Since we booked directly, breakfast was complimentary. Parking is about a five-minute walk away. Our room was called Sibi, on the ground floor. It was nicely decorated, and we appreciated having a Nespresso, though I was disappointed by the 32-inch TV. The room also lacked light and ventilation, and there’s no AC. We visited during low season and were the only guests on Thursday. I think more guests arrived the next day. The hotel is cute and the staff are great. We might return, though we may also look at places outside the center because traffic gets pretty heavy. I’d recommend it for a romantic getaway.

After a massage, you can take a glass of wine to the terrace jacuzzi and watch the Catedral lit up at night. The hotel’s massage service is great, and it makes for a lovely weekend escape. Valle de Bravo is an amazing “Pueblo mágico,” considered one of the prettiest places to relax near Mexico City. You can drive there from the city in under two hours.
