The room was comfortable, but the door fit loosely and let cold air blow in around the sides. It also wasn't very secure. The hotel was farther from the butterfly sanctuary than advertised, over an hour away. A hair dryer would be a nice addition.

There isn't much to see or do nearby, and the lake and restaurants are about a 25-minute drive. The restaurant on site only opens if the cook shows up, and breakfast isn't included. My room's curtains didn't fully block the view from outside, there was no air conditioning, and the beds felt as stiff as the floor. They also don't explain the cancellation and early departure charges when you book by phone: if you can't make your reservation, they charge you for those days anyway, and leaving early costs 50% of those days.

The pool area is awesome, and the staff are friendly. A great little place.

I especially enjoyed having coffee in the morning and taking in the country life. The hotel was clean and pleasant, with all the amenities. The service was friendly and excellent, and I'd highly recommend it.

The place is comfortable and nice, but getting a good night's rest is impossible because the event hall makes so much noise.
