Hotel Finca los Girasoles

The young man who helped us was really attentive, and our room was clean and comfortable. It's good value for money and worked well for an unplanned getaway. There's a lovely terrace and plenty of parking. They don't serve food, though it looks like they're building a dining area. At check-in they said the Sky TV service had a network problem, but they fixed it, so we were able to enjoy it even though our main reason for booking was to relax.

For what you get, I think it's expensive. The place was clean, but nobody was there to offer coffee or water. The shower was broken, the bathroom light wouldn't turn off, and the satellite TV wasn't working.

It's a quiet, nice-looking place and the staff are attentive, but the rooms smell damp. There's no food service, shop, or cafeteria, so it's basically just a place to sleep and leave.

I wouldn't recommend it after the experience I had. They said they didn't have a key to give us for our room. The room felt damp, which I understand may be typical for the area, but it made sleeping uncomfortable, and even the sheets felt wet. I later went back for a perfume I'd forgotten, but nobody answered the door or any of my several calls. I feel they may have ignored me so they wouldn't have to return it.
