We only ate here, so I can't speak to the rooms. The lunch at the street-level cafe was a letdown: our server did very little to make us feel welcome, and the prices were extreme. The next morning, coffee at their bar cost $100 for an espresso, compared with $30-40 at other local shops. I would've expected service and quality to match the hotel's worldwide reputation, but based on those prices, I'd consider giving up my loyalty card and avoiding Best Western. Sorry, I don't support places that gouge customers.

The area around the hotel felt very clean and safe, with plenty of local shops, restaurants, and clubs nearby. Staff were helpful, and changing rooms was no problem. When the AC remote didn't work, they replaced it quickly. I also had shirts ironed; it cost a little, but they were returned fast. The hotel itself was clean and nice. I'd stay again.

The pool was clean and a decent size, and the hotel is nicely located in the town center. Staff were courteous and the rest of the property was pretty nice. Rooms were clean, though they could use some updating, and the lighting felt like a hospital. The gym has a good range of dumbbells and a couple of machines, plus there's outdoor space to work out. Inside, though, it's cramped and would definitely feel crowded with three people.

There are plenty of good places to eat and specialty shops within walking distance, and the hotel is in a prime spot. It's a gorgeous traditional property, very clean, with reasonable rates. The employees were welcoming and very polite, and the customer service was excellent. I'd be happy to stay here again.

Right in the middle of the city's activity, with restaurants, bars, museums, and shops all around. The hotel has a small pool and gym, plus parking. There are several places to eat on site: El Patio has a delicious breakfast buffet in the morning, a restaurant under the arches by the main entrance is open almost 24/7, and upstairs on the roof there's a fancy restaurant and a really good bar at night. From the rooms, you get a lovely view of the lush main park and cathedral. They're homey, and the A/C is welcome in the constant city heat. Very good hotel, one I always recommend. It's in the center of Colima.
