There’s a nice garden and parking is possible, though if another guest parks irresponsibly, you may have to move your car before they can get out. The room was spacious, the bed comfortable, and the shower hot. The toilet was extremely clean, the cleanest we’d seen in our 1.5 months in Mexico.

The staff were super nice, and there’s parking for the car. The beds were good for sleeping, and the hot shower was very good. The rooms are a bit dark and basic, but it’s pet friendly and a great value for a budget hotel.

We stopped overnight on the way to Montebello. It’s in a good spot, four blocks from the plaza, with a pretty garden and off-street parking. Clean, dog friendly, and friendly.

It’s a nice place, but I’m leaving a little dissatisfied. The hot water took 30 minutes to come on, the toilet bowl was loose from the floor, and the mattress was too hard. Parking costs an extra 50 pesos.

There’s no air conditioning, but the room stayed fresh and cool, so it wasn’t needed. We had a comfortable double bed, hot water, internet, and no unpleasant odors. The old mansion’s colonial style and well-kept garden won us over right away. We were glad to find decent service and everything we needed in such a small town. It’s two minutes from Comitán’s city center, with plenty of restaurants and coffee shops nearby.
