We stayed in hotel B and liked having access to the adults-only pool, though both pools were quiet most days. The rooms are nicely decorated, but oddly there are very few outlets and none near the beds. The staff we met were lovely. Breakfast was decent, though service could be slow when they were busy. For Cozumel prices, dinner at both restaurants was very good and fairly priced. We especially liked the tuna tostada, poke bowl, guacamole, and chinichita pibil, with generous portions. We also used the on-site dive shop and had a great experience. Gracias David and Miguel. Getting picked up from the dock was so convenient. We loved our stay!

It's relaxing and worth it when the place isn't too crowded. The sea right in front makes for a lovely view, though the shore is rocky rather than sandy. There are two pools, one suited to families and another for adults only. We bought a day pass for 1,000 Mexican pesos per adult, and that amount can be used as credit toward bar food and drinks, which is a nice bonus. The food wasn't the best, and it wasn't easy to find something really good on the menu. Service was good, and the staff were friendly.

The ocean view was truly amazing, and Cozumel itself makes it hard to be too unhappy. Our room was clean, the bed comfortable, and the staff friendly, attentive, and polite. Breakfast was included and decent, with a buffet some mornings and a choice of usual breakfast dishes brought to the table on others. The room has only three outlets and none for phone charging, which surprised me after a recent renovation. Hot water, including in the hot tub, was sometimes barely warm. A shower with hot water shouldn't be too much to ask. On Saturday a DJ blasted techno for more than six hours. It was awful, loud even in our room, and there was nowhere to escape. The canned music they played daily wasn't much better. The ocean is music enough for a lot of people. They also sell day passes to cruise ship visitors, making it hard for hotel guests to find seats. Maybe there are simply more guests than beach chairs. Towels were scarce in the afternoon, partly because people used them as sunshades on daybeds. It was frustrating to leave the pool without one, even if that's not the hotel's fault. Maybe they need more towels. Safety didn't seem to be a priority. There were no handrails at the pools or on stairways, and stepping into the pool felt like missing a stair. Twice we found the small beach area with chairs and loungers scattered, wet, dirty, and sandy, and had to ask for them to be wiped down. There had been a storm one evening, but the weather report is readily available and it was a nice day. They should prepare for guests. Lunch was limited, expensive, and only okay, with small portions. We didn't eat dinner at the hotel, so I can't comment. The furniture was another problem. Whoever buys hotel furniture should sit in it for an hour, and have their oldest living relative do the same. We couldn't find one comfortable chair. The loungers were the exception, though a little worn. We weren't that happy and aren't sure we'd return to Hotel B.

I wouldn't stay here again, and suggest you don't either. My room looked untouched since the hotel opened, and the door lock didn't work unless I used the chain. Locking the balcony door took extra effort. I asked to move to one of the renovated rooms shown in the pictures, but they refused. The shower had no hot water until they sent someone to fix it. Breakfast was easily the most limited included breakfast I've had at a Mexican hotel. Latte and passion fruit juice both cost extra. The pool wasn't heated, and at this time of year it was just cool enough to be uncomfortable. Wi-Fi was slow and had no password protection, so I felt I had to use a VPN.

The sunsets, snorkeling, activities, and day-club atmosphere make this a good spot to stay. They have or can arrange most of what you need, and Faustino on the hotel staff can offer recommendations. The bikes weren't in service during my visit, but hopefully a fleet will be available soon. Hot tip: rent an e-foil from Nick & Mike at Reckless e-surf and cruise the coastline.
