It was a little rustic, but very clean and comfortable, with decent beds, plenty of hot water, and a very good breakfast in the morning. The hotel was well run, and the staff and service were great. It’s close to Centro and Chepe station, a good place for a night or two if you’re touring the CC on your own. Several of the top tour companies are within a block of Centro and the train station, so it’s a great place to arrange trips to the main Copper Canyon sights.

After two days in the cabin, my mother-in-law was having trouble breathing because the wood fire stove needed better ventilation. The owner kindly moved us to another room with a gas furnace, and the rest of our stay was pleasant thanks to the different room. It’s a nice hotel.

The location was excellent, just a few steps from downtown, and the tours were easy to arrange with their help. The rooms can sleep up to four people and were really cheap. There was more than I expected: beds, a huge flat TV, a small fridge, dining table, kitchen, sink, and a heater. They also had warm water and WiFi. It’s a great place to stay.

The internet was limited, and the wifi was weak, but it is a small town. The rooms seemed fairly new and were clean, with a nice TV. The staff were friendly and punctual. We booked tours through them and had the best guides, Juan and Carlos. Those guys were really knowledgeable and knew the places.
