Jardin del Mar

Ty and Alissa went above and beyond to make our stay amazing, and their two dogs were a bonus. The whole Jardin staff was lovely and helpful, and we’ll definitely be back and recommend it to our friends. Jardin Del Mar was the best place I’ve ever stayed. Our room and the rest of the resort were beautiful, the pool was perfect, and the ocean was right in the backyard. It’s away from the crowded resorts and beaches, but still within walking distance of two towns.

We spent five nights at Jardin del Mar for a wedding held there. Tomas and Eric were gracious, wonderful hosts who thought of every detail and took care of anything we needed. The location is gorgeous, and I’ll miss that pool for a long time. Our room was lovely, full of character, and perfectly clean. I’d highly recommend this hotel when you want to get away from it all.

The rooms were spacious and full of natural light, and the kitchen had everything we needed for cooking. We came because the website photos looked beautiful, and this time they really did match the place. It faces the sea on an almost deserted beach, where we fell asleep each night to the sound of the ocean. The grounds are gorgeous, filled with tropical plants, artifacts, and curiosities. A short walk through the garden and down a few steps takes you to the beach. Eric and Tomas are lovely, funny, friendly, and there when you need help. Our eight-year-old son fell in love with the place and the hosts. You can drive or take a taxi to plenty of places, or walk along the beach into town. We totally recommend it for a quiet holiday away from busy tourist centers.

If you want a peaceful, pristine break from the crowds and noise of PV, Jardin del Mar is a beautiful place to relax. The guest rooms are furnished beautifully, and the grounds are lush and gorgeous. The hosts were friendly, helpful, and accommodating, and graciously helped with anything we asked. Bucerias, a fun little beach town with great bars, restaurants, and street shopping, is just a short taxi ride away. We loved our stay and would go back in a heartbeat.
