Hotel Serenna

This is a sister hotel to 1800, with a lower price and a better location. It’s a few blocks from the plaza and the restaurant. We stayed over Christmas, but the cook wasn’t available at this hotel, so we had to eat breakfast at 1800. The service was very good, and the location is excellent.

The rooms felt comfortable and everything looked new. They’re small, but there was enough room for everyone in our group. We stayed with friends over the weekend of June 6th, and the staff made the visit stand out, from check-in through our evening checkout. They were incredibly kind, and at breakfast they kept checking that we had what we needed. There’s parking, and the hotel is six blocks from the city center, an easy walk for dinner. I’d definitely come back.

The rooms were clean and comfortable in this small hotel. Breakfast was tasty, though a little limited, with an executive-style setup. Service was good enough, even if the staff could be a bit unhelpful at times.

Carolina, the cook, was wonderful and gave excellent service. The staff were attentive in general, and everything else was very good. The one issue was the night of July 22nd into the 23rd, our last night, when guests stayed at the pool until very late and nobody told them to stop.
