8/10
The room and bathroom were both spacious, and the staff were very kind and responsive. Outside, the grounds are lush and green, and the warm, clean pool has loungers, tables, and umbrellas around it. There’s a nice playground for kids too. The buffet breakfast was disappointing, so we ate all our later meals elsewhere. The place is nice, and I’d stay again, but it doesn’t feel as impressive as it may have once been. Several years of deferred upkeep show in the room: the ceiling fan wouldn’t spin, a closet was stuck shut, and the TV was mounted strangely on the ceiling. The front window and screen used to slide open, but they’ve been painted shut. The blinds have been repaired many times and need replacing. Premium mediocre.

The hotel is very pet friendly, and the service was nice everywhere. The rooms are large, clean, and nice. One thing to know, it’s not right in the city center, so you’ll need a Taxi/Uber to get around. Both are very cheap, about 50pesos.

We had a really nice stay here. Our room had a separate living room, so there was plenty of space, and everything felt clean and modern. The grounds and restaurant looked lovely, and dinner was reasonably priced. Great service, too.

The setting is lovely and quiet, and the staff were personal and wonderful with us. Our room was spacious and very clean, but its condition let the stay down. The ceiling fan seemed like it might fall, so I kept it switched off. The AC also wasn't working at first. I called reception, waited about 20 minutes in a hot, windowless room, and thankfully they got it sorted. One bed had a very uncomfortable mattress, lower and more sunken on one side, as if it had only been used on that half.

The service was exceptional, and the restaurant overlooking the garden served fabulous food and wines. The gardens themselves are exquisite, with a huge pool nearby. The rooms are beautifully appointed, too. A first-class hotel.
